Product context
VR creative applications for artists and casual users, made by a Belgian studio.
Main challenges
Turning fragmented, hard-to-prioritize interaction issues into a roadmap a small studio team could actually act on.
Heuristic analysis
Conducted a comprehensive heuristic evaluation of PaintingVR, producing a structured document that identified and prioritized the most critical interaction issues. Each finding came paired with actionable recommendations for fixes and opportunities to introduce new features, giving the team a clear, ready-to-implement roadmap.
User research
Years later, as Oisoi Studio began conceptualizing their next application, Vandalizer, they came back to us. We ran a user research process to understand the target audience, uncover needs and expectations, and define the strategic direction for the new product before development began.
Clearing goals, one at a time
Between the audit and the research, the problems stopped being a long list and became an order of work: what hurt users most, what it would cost to fix, and what the audience actually needed next.
Oisoi implemented the recommendations, and that groundwork is what made the next steps possible: Vandalizer, and a PC version of PaintingVR.
